Adult Groups

Jesus said, "I am the bread of life. Those who come to me will never go hungry." John 6:35a

Jesus Christ invites us to deepen our relationship with him. There are many things that vie for our attention and promise fulfillment. Jesus assures us that we will find true fulfillment through him. A deep relationship with Christ satisfies the hungers of our heart.

Groups and classes at St. Matthew's can help guide you to deepen your faith and enrich your relationship with Jesus Christ. We hope that you will consider where God might be guiding you. What group will help you to take the next step in your journey of faith? Our faith life is a journey and like any journey, is more satisfying to travel with companions. May God bless us as we journey together.

Second Thursday Seekers

What is Second Thursday Seekers?

It is a group of adults who get together the second Thursday of each month at 11:30 AM for lunch, fellowship, a speaker, and usually a mission outreach. The group is planning a field trip for the spring, and has other ideas about topics, speakers, and outings for the upcoming months. This is a group on the move. So if you are available, join us.

NEW: Second Thursday Seekers will meet March 11 at 11:30 AM in Room 302. There will be a discussion on "Christianity and World Religions: Judaism" led by Rev. Judy Hall and a mission project of preparing Easter gifts for our shut-ins. Bring yourself, a bag lunch, and a friend. Beverages and dessert are provided.
