Vacation Bible School & KaMP

Children ages 4 (by September 30) through rising 6th graders are part of the excitement at our Vacation Bible School and KaMP programs each summer. 

In 2008, St. Matthews United Methodist Church had more than 160 children ride the wave of God’s love at its summer Vacation Bible School, Beach Party: Surfin’ Through the Scriptures. 

More than 50 rising 5th and 6th graders took part in KaMP (Kids and Mission Projects), a separate program that coincided with VBS.  KaMP kids engaged in meaningful, hands-on mission and service work (field trips!) to see how we can make a difference in the lives of others.
