Multi-Generational Mission Trip
St. Matthew's is offering a multi-generational mission trip for the first time. This means that the entire family and/or extended family can go on a mission trip together. We are scheduled to go to the Eastern Shore, July 25-31, 2010.
Creation Care Team
The Creation Care Team at St. Matthew’s focuses on our Christian responsibility to protect and preserve God’s Creation, the Earth. As Christians, our covenant with God requires us to be stewards, protectors, and defenders of all creation. Get green today and learn about what you can do to protect God's Creation through the Creation Care Team.
Blood Drives
Five times a year, on Sundays in St. Matthew's Social Hall, there is a wonderful and easy opportunity to reach out into our community that costs participants no more than 90 minutes of their time - donating blood, the gift of life.
For every pint of blood donated at the five blood drives as many as three persons in the metropolitan area, from newborn babies to senior citizens, are given the chance for a better life.
For more information or to make an appointment, contact:
Charlie @ 703-273-9152 or Amy @ 703-279-5949. If your schedule doesn't accommodate making an appointment ahead of time, walk-in donors are always welcome.
