Come and join us in singing to the Lord. There are four vocal choirs at St. Matthew's to offer all generations an opportunity to express themsleves through song.

| The Sanctuary Choir |
 |
This choir is for adults of all ages who enjoy singing. They rehearse on Thursdays, 7:45-9:30 PM, and sing for one of the worship services each Sunday. They present special musical performances during morning worship in the Lenten and Advent seasons. |

| The Chapel Choir |
 |
This choir is for youth, Grades 7-12. They rehearse on Sundays, 5-6 PM, just prior to the UMYF snack supper and program. The primary focus of this choir is to lead in worship three times a month. They present a musical each winter. |
 |
| The Altar Choir |
 |
This choir is for children, Grades 3-6. They rehearse on Mondays, 3:45-4:45 PM, learning about music and worship, as well as refining their musicianship by learning hymns and anthems. They sing for worship once a month and present a musical each May.

| The Wesley Choir |
 |
The Wesley Choir is for children, Kindergarten-Grade 2. They rehearse on Mondays, 2:30-3:15 PM, learning music through playing instruments, singing and taking part in musical games. They sing monthly for worship and present a musical each May with the Altar Choir. |

With nine handbell choirs, St. Matthew's has one of the most prolific and well-known handbell programs in the greater metro area. The youth handbell choirs tour each summer and hold special concerts throughout the year, as well as ring regularly for Sunday worship services. From the beginner to the experienced ringer, we invite you to join us in our "joyful noise".

The Alleluia Ringers
(beginning level)
The Alleluia Ringers welcomes adults of all ages - rehearsals are held on Sundays, 6:15-7:15 PM. They are a beginner level handbell choir, play four times a year for worship, attend an adult handbell retreat and festival each year, and ring in two special concerts each year.

The Mitchell Ringers
(intermediate-advanced level)
The Mitchell Ringers are adults of all ages and musical abilities that ring on the intermediate/advanced level. They rehearse on Sundays, 7:15-8:45 PM, and ring once a month for worship. They present occasional concerts in the community and attend a handbell festival and retreat.

The Peace Ringers
(advanced level)
The Peace Ringers are adults with advanced handbell experience. They rehearse Tuesdays, 7:30 - 9:30 PM and ring for worship once a month. They present occasional concerts in the community, play for weddings, and attend adult handbell festivals.

The Tower Ringers
(grades 7, 8 & 9)
The Tower Ringers are youth in grades 7, 8 & 9 with varied musical talents. They rehearse on Mondays, 5:30 - 7:00 PM, and ring 5-7 times a year in worship. They present concerts in the community.

The Celebration Ringers
(Sr. High - intermediate level)
The Celebration Ringers are junior/senior high youth, Grades 8-11, with intermediate level musical ability and experience in handbell ringing. They rehearse on Wednesdays, 7:30-9:30 PM, and ring 7 times a year in worship. They present concerts in the community and go on a handbell tour each year.

The Carol Ringers
(Sr. High - advanced level)
The Carol Ringers are senior high youth with advanced musical and handbell ability. They rehearse on Mondays, 7:30-9:30 PM, and ring 7 times a year in worship. They present concerts in the community and go on a handbell tour each year.

| Children's Handbell Choirs |

The Rainbow Ringers
(grade 3)
The Rainbow Ringers are children, Grade 3, who have very little or no ringing experience. They rehearse before the Altar Choir on Monday, 3:00-3:45 PM. They ring for worship several times a year.

The Praise Ringers
(grade 4 - 5)
The Praise Ringers are made up of children, Grade 4 & 5. They rehearse before the Altar Choir on Monday, 3:00-3:45 PM, and this year will work on refining their note reading. They ring in worship regularly and participate in a handbell festival each year.

The Chancel Ringers
(grades 5 & 6)
The Chancel Ringers are children, grades 5 & 6. They rehearse following the Altar Choir on Mondays, 4:45-5:30 PM, ring for worship regularly and participate in a handbell festival each year.
