Worship/Ministry

At St. Matthew's, worship is at the center of all we do. We seek to provide a fellowship where each person can grow and serve as a unique child of God and come to know God as the One who creates and sustains us, who redeems and sets us free through Jesus Christ, and whose Spirit fills and guides us in our daily lives.

Each service incorporates prayer, music, scripture reading, an inspirational and relevant sermon. Through each of these elements, we aim to bring God's light and love into your life and family. All generations are invited to participate in church worship services - from our Children's Time to youth choirs to our altar guild to simply sitting in the pews to hear God's Word.

Before and after services, find fellowship with church members and visitors as we each look for new ways to reveal and embrace God's grace. Join us for our many mission projects. Nearly every day at St. Matthew's year-round, there are ample opportunities for you to give back to your community and world. From distributing food and gifts to the less fortunate, to teaching English as a Second Language, to building and refurbishing homes, your talents are needed to make someone's day brighter, warmer and hopeful.
