In-person Worship

  • In-person church services and activities are limited in order to keep our community as safe as possible. We offer in-person worship Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. (Traditional) and 11:15 a.m. (Modern) at reduced capacity so therefore registration is required. You can register here https://www.stmatthewsumc.org St. Matthew’s will continue to offer online worship and other virtual opportunities throughout this time so we may continue being the church in our community.   • The Way Forward Sunday School Class is meeting via zoom each Sunday at 11:00 a.m. for a social time with class starting at 11:15 a.m. for one hour.  We invite all who would like to participate in our Zoom meetings to email karenschevalier@gmail.com to be added to the invite.   

  • The Sunday School Class for Parents is starting a new 10-week study on January 24 - Words of Life: Jesus and the Promise of the Ten Commandments Today, by Adam Hamilton.

    Anyone is welcome to join at any time! You may purchase your own copy of the book, but it is not required to participate in this study. Join us as each session we will watch a brief video together, read Scripture and discuss and reflect on how the Ten Commandments apply to our lives today.

    We will meet via Zoom every other Sunday morning from 10:15 a.m.- 11:00 am. For more information, including the full schedule of our meetings through the end of this school year, and to receive the Zoom link, email Mandy Lloyd, mandylloyd.cdci@gmail.com.

What you need to know to attend in-person worship.

  • Before entering the church attendees must read the health acknowledgment poster and agree with the requirements stating that they do not have any symptoms of COVID-19, have not been in contact with anyone testing positive, and that they are not waiting for the results of a test. See health acknowledgment information here or below.

  • Pre-registration is requested.

  • Nursery services are offered for children 3 and under however the children must be pre-registered to use the nursery. If using the nursery please enter through the back of the church at the handicapped entrance.

  • Face masks are required unless you are fully vaccinated. This applies to everyone including children 3 and up. 

  •  We encourage you to use the front entrance of the church, however, if you need the handicapped entrance you are able to enter through the back handicapped entrance. You will be greeted by volunteers.  Those are the only 2 entrances that we are allowed to use. 

  • If you wake up not feeling well please not attend services.

  • Volunteers will assist with seating.

  • After the service, you can drop off your offerings as you leave.
