Children’s Ministry

Children’s Programs with St. Matthew’s UMC

Please register your children to participate in children’s activities here.

• Children’s Worship - Children participating in Children's Worship at the 10 a.m. service will leave the service after the children's message and will return to the sanctuary at the end of Worship. All children ages 4 through 3rd grade are welcome to participate.

• Children's Sunday school- Children’s Sunday School meets at 9 a.m. every Sunday. Please email Katie Fritchman kfritchman@stmatthewsumc.org if you have any questions.

• Acolyte Training and Acolyting

  Acolytes are an important part of worship! Each Sunday, acolytes start the traditional church service off by bringing the light of Jesus into the worship space, and at the end of service, acolytes carry the light of Jesus out into the world.

Worship Assistants

Children are welcome to help in worship as scripture readers and acolytes. If your child would like to sign up please visit our volunteer page here.
