Many United Methodist members choose to make donations of stock as a tax-deductible contribution to their church.  The Virginia United Methodist Foundation provides this brokerage service to all local churches, by accepting the stock, liquidating it upon receipt, and issuing a check to the designated church.  If you are interested in making a stock donation to St. Matthew’s, see the form below.  For questions regarding the form or process you can also contact our church treasurer Cheri Brown at treasurer@stmatthewsumc.org.  Contact the Foundation Office at 804-521-1121 with any other questions.
