Experiencing Emmanuel is an inspiring weekend study that explores the various ways we see Emmanuel within and around biblical stories.

• How do we experience God in times of joy and in challenging times of anxiety, fear, or sadness?
• Can we experience God’s presence in community as we work together to bring about God's Kingdom?

This curriculum encourages participants to seek out experiences of Emmanuel from biblical times to our present day as we look toward our future in faith. Lyle Minter from St. Matthew's is one of the teachers.

The Experiencing Emmanuel weekend is July 24-26, 2026, at New Creation UMC in Chesapeake, VA. You can attend IN PERSON or on ZOOM from your home. The course is offered in English and in Korean.
